in treetop tremor

of birdsong;

in leaf and bud’s

slow creep –

dusted prismatic–

toward full-throated

green refrain;

in skies –

by turns –

glass blue,

then churned

orchestral gray;

in scattered petals’ –

cherry, crabapple –

concentric drift.

Crowned.

Decreed.

Embraced.

Reign.
